Q: QuestionCan you use electric blanket, if so for how long? Can you plug in very small freezer??(2 answers)
A: AnswerDear Customer, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this question. There are different running watts of an electric blanket in different heat settings. As long as the running watts of the current heat setting of your electric blankets is less than 200W, the Explorer 290 can run it. As for the run-time, you can calculate it roughly via the formula of 290Wh* 0.8(inverter power loss) / running watts of your device. Here is a set of data for your reference: The Sunbeam Electric Blanket with 3 heat settings: 1.115 watts (the running wattage of Low heat setting), the Explorer 290 can run it around 2 hours. 2.135 watts (the running wattage of Medium heat setting), the Explorer 290 can run it around 1.7 hours. 3.170 watts (the running wattage of High heat setting), the Explorer 290 can run it around 1.36 hours. This Explorer 290 can run a 7 cu. ft small freezer whose running wattage is 165W for around 1.4 hours. Should you have other questions or concerns, feel free to contact our customer service. - A: AnswerThe cable to hook up a solar panel is not included. It is dependent on the connection that your solar panel uses. They are available on line ( Amazon) pretty inexpensively. It uses an 8mm barrel connector to whatever your solar panel uses. Then plug the 8mm barrel connector into the jackery and the other end connects to the solar panel. Then put the solar panel in the sun and leave it alone for a few hours to charge. Then plug whatever you want to run into the outlet (there is only one outlet so you may need a power strip but remember that this won’t run a whole house) or you can plug phones and other tech into the usb ports. You don’t need any other equipment. The jackery contains the battery and the controller and inventor. NO OTHER PARTS NEEDED EXCEPT THE CABLE TO CONNECT TO THE SOLAR PANEL AND THE SOLAR PANEL. CONNECT PANEL TO JACKERY THROUGH 8mm jack( the same one the wall charger uses)

- A: AnswerThanks for reaching out to us regarding this question. I’m hoping to run some LED lights totaling 48 watts. How long would this battery power those lights? This battery power those light for about 4.8 Hours. 290 * 0.8 (DC to AC power loss)divided by 48(watts) equal 4.8 hours. Please do not hesitate to ask us, if you have more questions. Thanks for your support. Best Regards, Jackery Support Team
