Q: Will the clip 3 connect to other clip 3s or clip 2s
A: The Clip 3 is a standalone device. it cannot connect to a JBL Clip 2 or another Clip 3.
Q: Can you change/skip a song from the speaker?
A: Double tapping the play button in the middle should skip the song
A: You can use this as a bluetooth speaker phone. There is a phone icon button on the side that allows you to connect in this mode. Use your phone to dial and you should be able to hear it thru the JBL speaker.
Q: Does it have an auxiliary plug??
A: The clip3 does have a aux plug I like that better than the clip2 that has the cable permanently attached to it and once you use it the cable won't clip back in the holder tight enough to stay in place so I had to tape it. The clip3 just has a port to plug in to way better idea
A: Unfortunately, the jbl app cannot be used to disable those annoying on/off/connection tones. Works with the flip. Not sure what JBL was thinking. Great little speaker though. On that note, the link portable forces us to use google home to connect Bluetooth for the first time.
Q: is it water resistant? water proof? or dont get it near water?
A: JBL Clip 3 has a rugged grille design that you can use for outdoor purposes. It also has an IPX7 waterproof rating meaning it's splashproof and can withstand being submerged in water for a depth of one meter for 20 minutes.
Q: Does this speaker have a aux cable?
A: Aux cable does not come included with product but it does have an aux port so you can plug one into speaker.
Q: Is this speaker too heavy to connect to a 140 lb person’s jacket and walk comfortably?
A: No. I use it for walks (3 miles or longer). I clip it to my jacket many times. If you use a hoodie, you can also clip it to the strings (with a knot). Not a problem at all.
