Great small tripod.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very versatile. The magnetic feet are handy; more so than I thought they would be. My only complaints are the legs could be slightly longer. Also, where the head attaches to the tripod feels a little flimsy. It feels like it might easily break if you're not careful adjusting the phone's position. Thirdly, I think the unit is a tad overpriced for what it is.

Great little add to your travel if going light.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review..Joby gorilla pod series quality you'd expect. They seem great out of the box, while this one is, as expectedly, very small and slim, and the culprit of these are always these leg joints that is always going to break no matter what. it is only a matter of time and this one will look especially flimsy given its size. You just have to kind of treat these as disposables and expect that it will break sooner or later. Otherwise, the magnet was surprisingly strong enough to hold my s10+ with a case if legs are angled right and the phone holder mount is easy to use, etc. overall, I would say it is worth the small investment if purchased on sale, but would not pay more than $20.

Handy little guy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up for my wife the photographer to use as she's bee looking for a way to hook to the tripod and have something portable. This one did both. It has threads that match standard tripods, so we used it to record the kids opening gifts on Xmas and to get a family photo using the bluetooth remote. The fold-able tripod is also great. We parked it in several locations to get different views and if the magnetic feet didn't get hold, it was easy to wrap the legs around and get things placed the way we wanted them. It also worked on small portable cameras, but as you would expect, it didn't have the strength to hold even a small SLR except on a flat surface. It's not a super-deluxe motorized unit that walks, but if fits the bill for most average users like me. Even my pro photog wife loves it.

Joby GripTight Does the job!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros- Its small compact magnetic and easy to travel with, Cons- I wish the grip would hold the phone better. Overall I was happy using the joby and would recommend for a beginner who for a reasonable price wants to have a steady phone mount for taking pictures.

Perfect for family photos!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for our trip to Yellowstone. We have a family of five and we always have someone missing from the photo unless there is a kind stranger nearby to get a photo of us. This worked very well for us, set up the tripod and hit the remote. Soon the kids were arguing over whose turn it was to use the remote to take the picture. Also comes in handy if you want to get a selfie without the extended arm look. I’ve found myself using it after our trip. Easy to set up for a pic lounging in the new hammock. If you ever have trouble pairing the remote with your iPhone or Android (I have both) just go into your phone Bluetooth Settings and hit Forget Device. Turn you Bluetooth off and back on and it will find the remote again and pair (make sure remote is turned on!). I’ve also been using it at work (restaurant) to get pictures of new dishes the chef is experimenting with. You’ll start seeing your phone photography in a new way when you own one of these. I also recommend the book “The Enthusiasts Guide to iPhone Photography” by Sean Dugan to take your photos to the next level. (I am not Sean Duggan and I don’t work for him, I’m just interested in taking better photos and videos)

JOBY GripTight ONE Magnetic Smartphone Kit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This all in one kit has all the features I wanted in one small package. I wanted the magnetic feet, and the remote. I searched various ways to purchase items separately, but ultimately this was the way to go. The remote works as advertised. With some trepidation, I was able to support my iPhone 13 pro in its case, on the side of the fridge. I felt it was pushing the weight capacity limits, so I would say be very careful if you plan on supporting a larger iPhone on a vertical surface. A bit expensive, but the limitless ways to support your phone or camera, the remote and magnetic feet justify the price. I’m happy with the purchase.

When you need more than a selfie stick
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tripod, combined with the remote control, is invaluable for those big group photos when there are no bystanders. Just use a parked car or a street sign as a support. The magnetic feet work great. The only downside is how long the friction ball head will hold up.

Q: QuestionHow about this? Does it fit to Iphone 8 plus or Iphone X with case? pls I need your reply asap. Thank you!
Asked by Ella.
- A:Answer Yes I have iPhone X with otterbox case and it fits perfectly

Q: QuestionWhat’s the length the tripoid will extend
Asked by Maru.
- A:Answer Technically the tripod doesn't raise and lower at all. With its ballhead in the upright position, the tripod is 6.5 inches tall. This tripod is meant to hold the camera steady and cling to a variety of surfaces in order to capture selfies. I use the magnetic tipped legs for all sorts of poles and other tall metal structures in the environment that the legs can't wrap around, but the magnetic feet can hold the position in order to get the height I want for images. Carry this little guy everywhere.

- A:Answer The phone grip is not big enough to hold the phone in portrait mode, but the ball head can rotate to portrait mode.

Q: QuestionCan the cell phone mount be removed so a camera can be put on the tripod?
Asked by KrisH.
- A:Answer Yes, the cellphone mount/holder can be remove by unscrewing it and the screw thread that remains can be used for smaller diigital cameras which use this same connection. I switch between a Sony handheld and my iPhone all the time. I like using the Sony flash to fill in for better image quality, so I seem to go back and forth all the time.
