THE Best Blu Ray 3D Movie you will Ever see.
Posted .What I love about this movie is how they use realistic occurences to depict a fictional story. Instead of placing a "magic portal" that leads to the center of the earth, they used lava tubes as a realistic way to get there, which lends to the idea that it could be possible. This is mainly why I feel Journey To The Center of The Earth had "Epic" implications. The problem is, the film is too short to earn this prestigious word in its review. My saying is: 2hr+ movies are not always Epic, but Epic movies ARE always 2hr+. Avatar, Batman Begins, King Kong and Transformers are all 2 1/2 to 3 hours long. If Journey offered an extra half hour of "the world inside the world", I could possibly add it to this elite list of movies I consider "Epic". I had the anaglyphic 3D version of this movie before watching the Blu Ray 3D version, and I'm happy to say that it's exactly the same without the red and green outlines. Because anaglyphic 3D effects are usually much better than anamorphic, this means you get an outstanding Blu Ray 3D experience and don't have to wear red and green paper glasses. No other Blu Ray 3D movie offers the kind of in-your-face effects that this one does. Film Experience: 5 of 5 3D Experience: 5 of 5

Awesome adventure film
||Posted .Journey To The Center Of The Earth is a movie based on the book by the same name. The book also has an earlier version of the film from 1959. This movie features Brendon Fraser (Main star), Anita Briem (daughter of an explorer), and Josh Hutcherson (Brendons son). They go in search of the center of the Earth. What they find is amazing and makes you wonder what if there really is life inside the Earth. I don't like putting spoilers in my reviews. You should watch this film despite the mediocre ratings. This steelbook is a great addition to the collection. I just wish they had one that featured the sequel together with this film. Or even a steelbook of the 1959 version.

Journey To The Center Of The Earth on Blue Ray
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Nice improvement over the DVD version. Originally done in 3D, and the Blue Ray version looks almost 3D i n some scenes.

3Deep
||Posted .I saw this at the theater in 3D. Man, did it pop. When it came out on DVD, I got the 3D version with the paper/plastic blue and red glasses...yeah, we've all been there. No good at all. I decided since I have a 3D TV and blu-ray player I would try it on blu-ray. YES, YES, YES. What a fun movie. I've always like Brenden Fraser and he does a great job in this movie. Highly recommend 2d or 3d. It's all good.

Great Adventure Movie for All
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Journey to the Center of the Earth is super. Brenan Fraser is both macho & funny, as the lead. Josh Hutchinson before Hunger Games , is a great side kick. Lots of action, flying biting fish, man eating flowers & finally the T-Rex. Really enjoyable of an old time favorite book & wonderful author, Jules Verne.

3d popouts
||Posted .We are new to 3d movies so we got a few movies to watch. When I put this one in the dvd player, my kids were so excited. It starts off with a great popout and that's what we wanted to see in our 3d movies. I know everyone doesn't like these effects, but if that's what you are looking for, like my family was, this is a good one to get.
