A: It does not have built-in GPS but that can be run through your Android device.
Q: Does this device play DVDs directly on the device or does it need something extra?
A: I did not buy this unit for the DVD feature but was impressed when the salesman said it played movies. That said, I had to go out and try it when I received this question. It does play DVD''s directly on the unit. I slipped a movie into the slot and it started right up. So far, I've been very happy with this unit and would recommend it.
Q: Does this unit respond to steering wheel controls (volume, etc.)?
A: Yes, with the purchase of a separate steering wheel control installation kit that is required. Ours works perfectly.
Q: Can I install this in my 1996 Cadillac deville???
A: Yes just make sure to buy the double din bracket for the stereo so you can install without any complications its like 19.99
Q: Does it have a back up camera and can you play CDs in it as well?
A: The backup camera option is available and it is ready to plug and play, however, the camera is something that you will have to purchase separately. The unit does play CD's/DVD's as well as USB and Bluetooth devices.
Q: Does this have AM/FM tuner?
A: Yes it tunes am/fm
Q: Can i connect spotify with my iphone thru bluetooth with out using AUX cable?
A: Yes. It also has Spotify preinstalled so you login to your account and can play music direct from your account as well.
Q: How do I get my GPS to work on this receiver while using an Android phone?
A: There is no gps app that can be accessed on the radio that is compatible with android. You have to mirror your phone screen to the radio, which I'm still trying to figure out how to do. As soon as I find the solution I will update and inform. Hopefully this at least saves you several wasted minutes or hours searching online for the proper app, which is what I did
