Amazing HDR Performance - True 4K
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Best Buy had a closeout sale on this one so I had to jump on it. Coming from an Epson 5040, and what a difference. Don't let the other company's "claimed" contrast ratios fool you, this projector provides the best contrast I've ever seen. Blacks appear perfect and the whole image is better for it. It handles HDR better than any projector I've had, and it feels like a set-it-and-forget-it solution to HDR. Super glad I was able to find such a good deal.

Great pic
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Great picture quality and native 4K is definitely an upgrade over the 4K eshift options (that are technically 1080P). Hard to found a mount though. Even the universal chief mount they recommended did not fit the jvc

Worth the extra $$$
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Great picture. Was skeptical about difference in the high end non-4k that i already had versus this setup and it is a big difference. Refresh rate has no blur when watching sports and picture is awesome. Might to utilize all the fetures this system has to offer, but it is great to know it can do more.

Great native 4k projector at entry level
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Beautiful native 4k projector. I am using it with Onkyo 4k receiver and my PC. I am easily able to get 4k@60 from this projector and no issues in PC gaming at all. Colors are vibrant. 4k movies now look good. Even if I have a small light turned on, I don't see any issues with brightness. But it is a treat in dark. Lens shift, zoom and focus options are motorized and help to fit the picture nicely on your screen.

Excellent Quality. Very Impressed.
||Posted .I did a lot of research and spoke to the pros at magnolia before choosing this projector. I was close to going with the Sony that's around the same price. I'm glad I went with this one instead. The demo was great, but in my theater it really impresses me with the deep blacks, great contrast, and better than expected brightness. Would highly recommend. You won't regret this purchase.

Q: QuestionCan this work with a 203 inch diagonal about ten feet away and hanging from the ceiling?
Asked by 5pac3m0nk3y.
- A:Answer Not even close. At 10’ you will be able to throw about a maximum of 92”. This projector is not bright enough to throw a 203” image. (You would need many many more lumens of brightness and a very long distance - more than 30’ - to achieve a size like that.)

Q: QuestionI currently have a 7 year old Sony 40ES projector with a 110" diagonal 16/9 screen. The projector is ceiling mounted about 16.5' back from screen. I want to upgrade to a 4K projector and a 2.35/1 screen (130" wide). Can the JVC work with this?
Asked by jefny.
- A:Answer I have a Sony setup similar to what you desire. I do not recommend a 2.35 screen however. Most of your watching will be 16x9 and you will have a large window box. Ironically, you’ll have a smaller image for that than you do now! I have a 120-inch 16x9 screen that has no gain. The 1800 lumen Sony is bright as all get out, so the JVC ought to shine too. Take care to choose an excellent screen. It makes a world of difference. Mine is audio transparent and my speakers are behind the screen. It sounds awesome!
