A: Ye, the kit is compatible with HDTV with an HDMI cable.
A: I suggest instead the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Plus 3. It is available at Best Buy and their local store had the best price of anyone. I use it with my Sony DCR-TRV 740 and my old VHS VCR. Works well with both. It comes with software on CD that is needed. It took a little tweaking to get the installation correct, but now I am transferring old video form both machines and posting them on YouTube. You can burn a DVD or transfer the video to your hard drive for editing or just archiving. I prefer to use the S-video out on both my camcorder and VCR over the yellow RCA video connection. I purchased an extension S-video cable, and extension RCA cables even though I have a laptop.
Q: I wish to go from rca output on vcr to hdmi port on tv
A: This KS-U30 are for an older JVC car radio. These cables are not for a VCR.
Q: can I export music tracks from my BOSS BR-8 to my PC with this cable?
A: Yes as long as you have USB to USB or you might need a different adapter if your PC does not use USB I hope that helps you

A: Yes, RCA to Coax converters are manufactured. However, this product does not have that capability.
