Q: Does this work as a standalone? , or does it need to be added to a Kangaroo system? Thanks.
A: It works as a standalone. I have 8 of them, that give me temperature, humidity, and water leak data & alerts via the Kangaroo app on my phone. There is no additional monthly fee when using these as standalones.
