A: yes it will. that is the laptop i have and it fits great

A: I do not believe so, it's a snug fit on my MacBook.

A: For the MacBook Pro 13 inch there is just enough room for the charger and headphones

A: Yes
Q: Is this TOO big for the 12" macbook?
A: It fit daughter's 13" macbook perfectly. Since the 12" newer MacBooks are thinner and slightly smaller, there would be additional room to the sides of this sleeve. It's probably a personal choice on how loose or tight you'd like the sleeve to fit your device. This Kate Spade sleeve is very durable and the construction seems to be of good materials. :)
