Q: How big is the water reservoir? And how often does the filter need changing (with city water)?
A: The water reservoir is big enough to brew one carafe. I can get 5 days out of one cup a day and I vary the size I brew daily. I have had mine for a month on city water and have not had to change the filter yet. It comes with an extra filter.
A: This item is 13.7 inches in height.
A: Any keurig brand pods for original Keurig will work in the K-2. Coffee pods from Aldi work fine in the K-2. If you have old pods that you find do not work, you can remove the top of a pod that worked and place on top of the pod that doesn't to fool the K-2 sensor and brew as normal.
Q: What are the cup serving size choices?
A: The K250 brewing system will offer a 4, 6, 8 and 10 ounce beverage when you insert a single serve Keurig K-cup pod. Utilizing a Keurig K-mug pod and Vue pod the machine will offer a 12, 14 and 16 ounce beverage. Finally, when you insert a Keurig K-carafe pod, the machine will offer a 2 to 3, 3 to 4 and 4 to 5 cup option for brewing a carafe of coffee. We hope this information is helpful and we thank you for your question.
Q: What temperature does the water reach
A: Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Our K-Cup Pods are designed to brew at 192º F while the Carafe Pods will brew at 197º F. We hope this information is helpful.
Q: Can I hook this (or any other Keurig) up to a water line?
A: Hi Ellen and thank you for your inquiry. The K250 and or any of our home Brewing Systems cannot be hooked up to a water line. We hope this information is helpful.
Q: Can you make hot water only?
A: This brewer will make hot water.
