Impedance: 1 ohms (Describes the resistance of an electric signal throughout the system. Devices with low impedance require less power to deliver optimal signals but are more at risk for damage from overloading. Higher impedance requires more power but is more protected from overload damage.)
Enclosed: false
Peak Power Handling: 1000 watts (The maximum amount of power an electronic device, like a speaker, can handle without damage. This refers to short bursts of power, while root mean square (RMS) power handling indicates the amount of continuous power a device can sustain. Higher levels of distortion can also occur at peak power levels when the device is powered beyond its recommended usage.)

As advertised!!!
I replaced a 12" Kicker CVT because of the CompRT''s .55 cubic feet of minimal air space. My box is for a single 12", but only .75cf air space. My CVT required 1 cubic foot minimum. Anyway, using the same box, I installed the CompRT and was absolutely blown away by the difference in sound quality and volume, especially the low frequencies. I own a 2011 F150 FX4 SuperCrew, which limits my options for subwoofers. Shallow mounts made it possible for me to put a 12" sub under my rear seat with ease. The CompRT made it possible for me to get top quality sound from the limited air space available. I am extremely pleased with this product.
As for the DVC 1 ohm or 2 ohm, make sure you understand that these subs must be wired either in parallel, or series. I wish this info had been listed on specs page prior to my purchase. This would help people like myself who have minimal/moderate experience with car audio. My amp runs at 2 ohms, my first purchase was the CompRT DVC 2 ohm. I had to return it the same day and reorder the 1 ohm counterpart. DVC 1 ohm parallel runs @.5 ohms; series @ 2 ohms. DVC 2 ohm parallel runs @ 1 ohm; series @ 4 ohms. I hope this helps others when deciding on which model to purchase.
