The test/reset buttons of this Kidde Nighthawk alarm let you make sure it is still working, and its 9-volt backup battery ensures functioning during power outages.

- Carbon monoxide detector: 4 quick beeps, followed by 5 seconds of silence, followed by 4 quick beeps. Repeat with a number showing in the display (CO concentration in ppm).
- Digital display: Displays the level of carbon monoxide the unit is sensing. The unit updates this reading every 15 seconds.
- Sound alarm: Offers a loud 85-decibel pulsing alarm that will sound to alert you to a potential problem.
