A new side to Paul.
This is an album by Paul of old standards, the style of which influenced his song writing. If you are expecting a Wings or Beatles album stay away. If, on the other hand, you are open to experiencing another side of McCartney give it a whirl. The music mastering and instrumentation on this CD are second to none. If you have a quality audio system capable of reproducing the deep vibrations of a plucked upright bass and the plinkity plinks of a piano then this CD will not disappoint. Every one of McCartney’s albums for the last 10 years or so has been impeccably recorded and this is no exception. If you are any kind of a McCartney fan you can’t help but to enjoy his original composition “My Valentine.” I purchased the vinyl version as well and it is one of the best sounding recordings in my modest collection. I love this album.

beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Paul McCartney is a consummate musical artist. His collaboration on this album speaks volumes for his generous spirit when it comes to making beautiful music. This album makes me cry with joy, cry with compassion, and sing with abandon! Having grown up with this type of music being played by my mother on the piano and me singing along over her shoulder, these songs pull at my heart-strings.

Beautiful!
There's a few good songs on this album my Paul. So very beautiful, peaceful and dreamy. I recommend you don't listen to it while you are driving in the car. You will be so relaxed and calm and feeling good you won't realize you are doing 35 in a 50! Whoops! I give this cd 3/5 bc there are only about 3 really good songs.
