KitchenAid - 14-Cup Coffeemaker - Contour Silver

I bought this coffeemaker to replace an old model by Cuisinart. I choose this model because of the positive reviews and because the bold red color really adds a cheerful note to the kitchen decor. I like that the coffee filter chamber swings out with a press of a side button for easy access. It brews a great pot of coffee quickly and with no mess. The only minor annoyance is the auto-brew setting, which requires you to reconfirm the start time every night when I go to set it for the next morning. The Cuisinart required just one push of a button to engage the auto-brew process.

This coffee maker has been a real pleasure to use. Does a great job of making full 14 cup pots but also has setting to make smaller pots and does a great job doing that also. I would recommend it to everybody. It is not cheap but it is not cheaply made either and matches the rest of our Kitchen Aid appliances.

There are many coffee pots on the market in price ranges below $50.00. This coffee pot makes excellent coffee, has a filter basket if you don't want to buy paper filters, has a good pot that doesn't spill when you pour, keeps the coffee hot, and has a nice display and program features. I feel this coffee pot was at a fair price for this product. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality product that has satisfying features.

This is a great coffee pot. I like the choices I get to make with each pot. This pot makes and keeps the coffee very hot. My only criticism is the 8-12 cup filters are a little small for it, even though I only make 10 cups at a time, usually. Next time I buy filters, I will try the bigger filters, for commercial makers.

The added capacity of this coffee Maker (i.e. 14 cups) really helps. In the mornings when everyone is rushing around, the last thing you want to do is stop and make another pot of coffee because you took the last cup. This coffee maker eliminates a lot of those times.

This coffee maker makes great coffee, especially on the bold setting. We like our coffee strong, so this is a great feature. Also makes 14 cups, which is a big help when we have company.

Purchased this coffee maker as a replacement for the exact same model that has seen heavy daily use for a number of years. The machine is easy to operate and my wife likes the color - this product is hiughly recommended
