KitchenAid - 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher - Stainless-Steel

We have had this about three weeks now. Very quiet when running, seems to clean well. The cycles are longer than our 10 year old Maytag, but I think that is the norm with newer models because they use a lot less water. Our 2 complaints are it only comes in stainless steel (hate the fingerprints), and the silverware holder is kind of chinsy. The third rack at the top has been nice to put spatulas and other long utensils in it.

My previous KitchenAid Dishwasher remained in use for 21 years with NO service calls ever! I was looking for adjustable shelves, stainless steel interior, new top shelf for small items is good. Baskets are improved. Water use is less. Extremely quiet. Easy to load with a multitude of sizes and shapes of dishes and pans. Washes longer than other dishwasher, but not a problem. The China washing mode may be too hot for crystal drying, as a Crystal Goblet broke in dishwasher. I washed same Crystal in my 21-year K-Aid dishwasher, frequently. I am very satisfied with my new dishwasher and have learned not to dry Crystal in it.

Went in to the store with the intention of buying a Bosch because of the reviews I had read. They had this unit on sale as a floor model for $300.00 off the regular price with a full warranty. After comparing it to the Bosch models in store I actually like this unit better due to larger capacity and the upper third rack for utinsils, lids etc.It is not as quiet as the bosch but really close, and that was not a big concern for me.It has worked great and holds so much more than my old one.

After my older Maytag died, I was looking to move to a dishwasher that actually cleaned dishes. I was looking for stainless- and a third rack. Stainless interior was also a must. I like the rack spacing- with adjustable middle rack. I bought this one after a good review in consumer reports- it was rated a little more 'noisy' than the higher priced BOsch- but honestly, unless you are standing next to it- it's silent. The only gripe- its more difficulty to fit large pots and pans on the bottom rack, since all the tine spacing is even- have a few bent already. Washes wonderfully. quiet.

Excellent performance - very quiet. Dishes come out sparkling and completely dry by using the heating option. Lots of different configurations for matching the cleaning requirements - the standard run option uses very little water and power.

This dishwasher gets every single dish and plate clean. The only problem is the top rack is not intended for heavy items like a bunch of mugs.

This dishwasher is so quiet there is no interruption to other activity in the room. The dishes are spotless ; the only thing I've had an issue with is lipstick on a wine glass that wasn't rinsed ahead of time. The extra shallow 3rd rack at the top is perfect for spatulas, lids, etc. FYI I am using the Finish Quantum provided with the dishwasher and it is an improvement over the liquid cleanser I was using. Would buy this again if moving to a different home. The only issue I've had is that wine glasses don't seem to fit in the slots provided so maybe I just don't know how to use them properly but I've had no broken glasses so no problem.

All a person could want in a dishwasher. Looks great, cleans great, quiet- can't even tell it is running! Kids don't play with the controls due to the placement of the display and controls. Excellent and happy with this purchase. The guy who did the install said the KitchenAid is the best and has the least problems.
