  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: I recently purchased this dishwasher ( hasn't been delivered yet) and I was told it did not come with a top rack for utensils. As I read the reviews, many are stating how much they love the third top rack? Can you explain?

A: Also disappointed by the top rack, its basically useless for utensils, my old one I could slide them sideways & they’d be clean on both sides. This one they lay flat & only 1 side seems to get clean

Q: What does "self-filtration/ no self-filtation" mean? I don't want to have to clean the filter? Do any of your models have "hard item disposal"?

A: This KitchenAid® Dishwasher has a filter that requires no routine maintenance. Unfortunately, we do not offer any Dishwashers at this time with a disposal option.

Q: now I know where to fill the rinse aid........please don't tell me I need to fill it each time I run the dishwasher?? Normally filling the rinse aid would last more than 1 wash. thanks

A: pal, you should not have to fill the rinse aid every time you run a cycle. This KitchenAid® Dishwasher will show you when you need add more rinse aid. Please refer to page 8 of the use and care manual for more information. We hope this helps!

Q: How do you fill the rinse aid? When I turn the tiny button I can't lift it out.

A: Hey Pal, this is a great question. We are attaching a link for the use and care guide which should answer all of your questions moving forward. https://www.kitchenaid.com/content/dam/global/documents/201808/owners-manual-w10751712-rev-c.pdf

Q: Does this dishwasher have an end of cycle indicator telling you when they are clean? Does it also have a time left indicator telling how much time is left before the cycle is finished?

A: The indicator light in front is blue when washing, it turns white when dishes are finished. There is a countdown timer on the top (blue numbers) that shows how much time is left. Also, the word "CLEAN" in white lettering appears on the top when dishes are finished.

Q: on the white model what color is the handle? It looks like stainless on a white dishwasher

A: GrammyMo, the handle is stainless steel. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our KitchenAid appliances!

Q: Can you adjust the height down on this, with adjustable feet, from 34.5'?

A: triciare, for further information, we recommend referring to the installation guide, provided below. Hopefully, this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our KitchenAid Appliances! https://bit.ly/314YljT
