KitchenAid - 5-Speed Blender - Metallic Chrome

Wanted to start juicing but didn't want to get the bulk of a juicer or the cleanup, so bought a blender. It's great so far. The pulp can't be help but as for ease of use and cleaning. Can't be beaten. I've used every vege and fruit imaginable, everything blended well. The noise is the only con I could think of. It's strong so I guess comes with the territory. Great buy overall.

I like the size of the pitcher. My old Kitchenaid is still working very well but the pitcher is too small for meal replacement smoothies, however this one is perfect.

Size is great to get job done. Pineapple juice was so much easier in this machine. LOVE the color great addition to my pink kitchen collection. Wish they had more

Bought the blender for my mom and she loves it. She's making smoothies, shakes, and anything and everything possible. She is crazy about the color since her kitchen is primarily white so the tangerine is a nice splash of color. It came right on time.

We bought this blender about 1 month ago. We were shopping for a while to find a good blender to be primarily used for smoothies. We really wanted either the Blendtec or the Vitamix, but couldn't afford to spend $400 or more on a blender. We decided to try the Kitchenaid 5-speed blender because of good reviews and the $100 price tag. We have been using it several times a day for the past month and it has worked flawlessly. I am so glad we got this blender. It looks good sitting on the counter, and it does what it's supposed to do. Blends up whatever you put in it. I read some reviews that said the jar leaked. I haven't experienced this, but as I said before, I've only been using it for one month. We'll see how well it lasts.

After reading several reviews, I chose this blender as it has every feature we wanted for less than $100. We make protein shakes every morning. Design is perfect as the pitcher creates the perfect vortex so it crushes ice and blends fruit/nuts/ingredients perfectly. Easy clean up as you don't have to disassemble the whole thing to wash. Only complaint is that BB ships it in its original box. Best Buy, maybe you should put this on the "Overview" section. This was a gift and I am glad I showed up at home the same time it was delivered or the surprise would have been ruined. Also shipping in its original box it arrived really dirty and beat up. No damage to the blender itself, but again who wants to give a dirty and beat up looking gift? We have used it for two months, sometimes twice each day and it has worked perfectly. Like I said, my wife really loves this blender.

I purchsed this blender about 8 months ago. It replaced a very old blender that has worked great for 10 years. I was looking for a new blender that was built well and had options to do many types of blending. This blender meets that criteria. The blender construction is very solid with a very powerful motor. The motor speed system tries to maintain the selected speed even when various thikcknesses are put into the carafe. It sometimes has a hard time blending very think mixtures where you have to help assit the mixture down into the blending blade area. There is a Crush Ice mode that makes perfect crushed ice. All in all I would highy recommend this blender over many others out there. Its worth the extra cost.

I have been using this blender for about a month now. It chops ice very easily. It mixes contents very well. It does everything it is supposed to do. It is the best blender I have owned. I highly recommend it.
