Quiet and cleans good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a nice, quiet dishwasher. Fairly easy to load. I like the silverware holder and the drop-down feature on the bottom rack. However I am not happy that one of the indicator lights on the panel is already out. I have only had it for a week. NOT good. Since I didn't see it in the store, but only online, I didn't realize that it didn't have a time-delay feature. So, you can't set it to run 2 or 4 hours later, like most dishwashers can. I like Best Buy's free installation and the guy that installed it was good.

Nice Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this on sale and it went on a better sale the next week. Best Buy took care of us and refunded the $150 difference without any problems! They were not running a free install at the time and I thought it would be easy to do. For the most part it was, but you should know that this machine is a little taller than most and it is a huge problem getting it into a standard size opening! You must purchase the install kit (salesman didn't tell me about even though he knew I was doing the install). We have not had any issues at all so far and it is very quiet! It cleans everything very well, even if the dishes are not rinsed off very well before putting them in. I would buy this again, unless it breaks down soon. I will ad to this if we have any issues.

Sleek design! Super clean dishes! Nice and quite
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After the second dishwasher was installed everything was perfect! I am a big fan of KitchenAid line and the stainless finish is beautiful! It leaves my dishes super clean and is so quite compared to our old dishwasher. I had to get used to the touch controls on top of door. The energy efficiency rating is good, however, the normal cycle runs kind of long. I am pleased with my choice and plan to purchase KitchenAid refrigerator and oven soon. Would highly reccomend this product to others looking for a quality dishwasher!

Good value, nice style, quiet, cleans well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher cleans very well, looks good, is quiet, and has all of the features that most people actually use. The stainless interior is a plus, it seems that this one of the least expencive dishwashers with that option. It cleans very good, is very quiet. I dont think that the premium that you have to pay to get a quieter model with more options is worth it for most people. I can hear when it is running, but barely notice it. I had Best Buy do the installation, they were running a $20 special. With that and free delivery, it was a no brainer. I purchased a similar model at my last house and liked it very much which is why I got this one. No complaints so far.

Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy KitchenAid dishwashers. They used to be a good brand, but have gone cheap on all parts. We purchased this dishwasher through BB in 2011, and we're on our third rack for the top section. The cheap plastic wheels on the support racks snap off. We've had the geek squad out three times, and are about to throw the towel in on this unit and go with another brand. It now making a lot of noise and the geek squad repairman here today said it's the motor (I guess he didn't see that last week when he came to check on the broken top rack, even though my wife said 'it's making a lot of noise). The soap tab now remains in the soap dispenser, half melted/used (the door opens to it). GS repairman said to just leave the tab in the bottom of the dishwasher, you don't need to door/dispenser... Would definitely not recommend KitchenAid dishwashers. Cheap junk.

A Great upgrade from my old dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old dishwasher broke down so I went looking for a new one. What made me pick Kitchen Aid was the amount of room the top and bottom racks have. I can put my large tall glasses on top and I can still close the rack. On the bottom I can fit large pots and dishes with lots of room to hold more. Plus I love the huge silverware holder. I have a large family and we go through so much silverware. My family is so amazed on how quiet this dishwasher is that we can hardly tell its running. Our old one was very loud that we would have to turn up the television to hear it. Also the heated drying feature dries all our plastic storage containers. We use to have to dry them with a dishtowel, but not any more.

Great Dishwasher for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this dishwasher to replace a Maytag Tall tub. The Maytag was built very cheaply and I was constantly replacing wheels and rack parts. Final straw was when the entire bottom rack needed to be replaced. I have had the KitchenAid for about a month and I am very pleased. The dishes always come out clean and I do not rinse them to save water. The unit is also very quiet. The Tub is not as tall as the Maytag was But the upper shelf adjust up and down which helps.

Expected Kitchenaid Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit replaced a higher end Kitchenaid model because this was the best direct replacement. The appearance is very nice, install was easy, performance is very good so far. The upper tray for glasses and small items is a bit loose and wobbly. I had the same issue with the previous model. The sliding mechanism and attachment technique is functional but not robust. Our previous unit had one of the plastic arms break, but it was after 8 years of use. The mechanism is the same for this unit. Otherwise, I like the look of the unit and the materials used are good quality.
