awesome movie
||Posted .It's the buddy-road-trip movie for the boomers. Four old friends (with some old issues between) them take off for a raucous weekend in Sin City. The emphasis here is on "old" - but the 60-70 crowd still has plenty of life left in them. An improbable stroke of luck near the start of their outing makes wild extravagance almost plausible, but that just makes it more fun. Things like over-attentive adult children, mid-life (maybe late-life) crises, getting back to wild times after a few decades of married peace and quiet, sorrow and recovery from being widowed - all carried off flawlessly. And, it doesn't hurt to be reminded that "retired" and "dead" are different words for good reason. Every decade is a good one, or can be, just not all in the same ways. BTW, if someone pans the movie, check whether they're under 50. If so, they just might not have enough life behind them to appreciate what's going on.

Great, light-hearted, fun watch comedy!
||Posted .Opening Scene: The young “Flatbush Rat Pack” is presented with their “one for all and all for one” persona. Then flash-forward 58 years to a three way telephone conversation initiated by Billy to Archie and Sam but excluding Paddy to announce his planned Vegas Wedding this coming weekend and his request for them to “standup” for him. What follows from beginning to end in this light-headed comedy is an exceptionally well-written and developed story about friendship that will hold your attention and entertain you. For the record the four principle actors have never worked together in the past, yet the chemistry they present was seamless, relaxed and believable thus its’ quality as a complete comedy entertainment package. Without a doubt, this is a “go-to” comedy anytime you want a relaxing and comical view that’s slightly on the romantic side.

if you need a laugh watch
||Posted .As we get older, we remember our friends with whom we associated with and enjoyed the time spent. this story is about life long friends having one last fling together in Las Vegas, and they associate what they are doing with what they did as young boys, including sticking up for each other and also argueing, in doing so you relate to your past events and friends from your own past, and laugh at what is said. However, it is rated R for language content making references so inappropriate that children would be asking "what did he mean?" therefore i would highly recommend not having children under 17 watch this this movie.

Great movie
||Posted .I know all of these characters through the movies they have made over the years and the story of the aging process of 4 friends was portrayed excellently...the good times and the bad. At the end friendship trumps over the difficulties each have in their lives and the necessity of honesty about things in our lives...how these thing affect others in our ring of friends.

Love this comedy
||Posted .I like all five of the main actors playing their respective part. A good comedy that lifted me up and gave me some really good laughs. The plot is believable enough to make it work, unlike some movies. It was so good I hope they make a sequel. It's also great to see a movie that Hollywood trusts enough to have actors over 60 be the main charactors.

Glitter Las Vegas
||Posted .The Glitter of Las Vegas was shown in this movie. Driving at night is magical and things that you can attend during the day in Las Vegas are shown. My favorites are Douglas and De Niro with Freeman and Kline also starring, Freeman and Kline played the comedians. With all 4 Stars they made a good combination. I wish the writer would have had more comedy and a better plot.
