Q: What processor model is it? Is it AMD A12 XXX? Why is not it in the specifications?
A: It says the processor is AMD A12-9700 and I'm not sure why it's not in the specifications. Either way I am impressed with the speed as I have played a few games on it this morning.
Q: I didn't see any reference to the battery life. What is the typical battery life for this model?
A: Specs on this model from another site indicate a 4-hour battery life. However, I've had it unplugged for 2 hours, on 100% brightness, not in battery-saver mode and there are an estimated 4-1/2 hours remaining. Only have 3 browser pages up. So it's better than I expected.
Q: Does this have an ethernet port for a hardwired connection? Does this only have one USB port?
A: I have this laptop. Yes it has one Ethernet port. One 3.0 USB, Two 2.0 USB,for a total of 3 USB ports
Q: Is it suitable for minecraft battlefront and halo? Is it good for gaming?
A: Yes it can handle the games because it's the second biggest AMD chip you can get the number one chip is there FX AMD the chips like in between the I5 Intel and i7 Intel chip that's why I was surprised how cheap it was I bought one for myself the other guys are selling for 499 and599 for the same thing
Q: Is this quad or dual core processor?
A: I have this laptop. It's a Quad core processor @ 2.50GHz with a Turbo Speed @ 3.4 GHz. Also it has Integrated AMD Radeon R7 video card. Best Buy says it has Radeon R4, they are incorrect. R7 is a better than R4.
Q: Does this have a backlit keyboard?
A: keyboard is NOT backlit
Q: I know the laptop comes with 8gb of memory will it support 16gb?
A: I have this laptop. You can upgrade to 12gb max. It comes 4gb soldered in (not user replaceable), and one 4gb in a slot. The directions say you can replace the 4gb with a 8gb in the one slot.
