Great Price, still far behind the iPad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a huge fan of the Lenovo brand and their products, but when it comes to make a tablet that is comparable to the iPad, it still has a way to go. It’s Pros, are it’s compatible and can interface greatly with Amazon based-Alexa friendly products. It’s a very enticing price and the “Bluetooth” speaker is a nice added touch included with this device. Now unfortunately, it’s Cons, which outweigh the cons. - Bluetooth and WiFi doesn’t work well with Hot-Spots, especially if you are trying to have play movies or shows for your children. - The Bluetooth Speaker only work when connected to a plug-in source, it would be a lot better if there were a way that it could be used additionally without having it plugged in. - The response is slow and can lag when navigating apps. It’s response time to open and use the tablet is extremely frustrating. Lenovo’s M10 tablet should be more fluid and easy to use to open, maneuver and cycle through apps. Overall, it’s a decent tablet, but I travel a ton and if you need a tablet that’s designed for adults and especially for Children to use, spend the extra money and get an iPad. That’s exactly what I did a month later and my child is much happier with that arrangement. If you’re patient and are a fan of Android products then, this is a decent starter tablet to use or if you don’t plan on using more than for the Alexa based options for this product without the huge price tag.. then go for it. M10 tablet from Lenovo has potential but it has a long way to go in terms of trying to dethrone the iPad.

Posted .We appreciate your feedback on the Smart Tab M10. I'm sorry you are experiencing some issues with your device. There are several things that can effect performance on an Android tablet. If there are several apps running at the same time, or apps running in the background can cause this type of effect. Speed/laggy performance can also be caused by the number of WiFi devices connected and the internet speed that you have as well. So I recommend checking all those first. We also recently pushed out a software update that should resolve the Bluetooth disconnect you are experiencing. Please ensure that your device is fully updated as well. For additional support, feel free to reach out to our customer support team @ 877-453-6686.

Really good but some problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the concept of have a 10.1 inch tablet that I could doc and use as an alarm clock but there are some problems. When you connect it to the doc, sometimes it won't connect and you have to pull it out the doc and reconnect it and it is very slow at times. 2GB of ram isn't going to cut it. Other then those problems it is a solid device

I expected more!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so first few days were great, the tablet connected to the doc with no issues and it sounded great! Apps were running smoothly and downloaded very fast.... A few days later it no longer wanted to connect to the doc....i would watch YouTube and Netflix and only download 2 apps. The speaker would sound like it was a lot of static and then stop after 2 to 3 mins. Apps would close in the middle of it being used and sometimes would not start back up...even after restarting the tablet...for a $200 tablet i expected it to work much better and since it was a $200 tablet after a week I returned it. No way was I going to continue to use it these sorts of problems.

Listen to the reviewers, I did not, and DO NOT BUY
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the Google Home Lenovo Hub and it has performed very well. It was also twice the price. I bought this on sale for $150 and I regret every moment of it. It was an attempt to test Alexa vs Google Home, here are the issues in just the minimal time we have tried to use it. The tablet disconnects EVERY 3 mins. No matter what update, roll back of firmware, reset, factory reset, etc, it does this. The dock is bluetooth, but Alexa does not integrate with it. It disconnects when you move it, even with the faintest touch. It shouldn't be physically connected through the charging pins, it should be bluetooth, yet it's not. The table is slow. Alexa is baked in as well, even if you uninstall the Play Store app, and it continually causes issues. Now, the tablet won't even connect to wifi, I must reset all data for a 7th time. Other things: it's flimsy, the volume of the smart assistant is dramatically louder than that of Netflix or videos, so it must continually be adjusted, and it seems to freeze or have some new error EVERY morning we come down to it. This is, literally, a giant hunk of crap and I own so many tech gadgets, smart equipment, etc etc, but this is the first I've felt obligated to warn others. Buy the Lenovo smart clock or Lenovo Google Home hub, do not buy Alexa integrated crap from them. ONLY buy Alexa from Amazon products, trust me. Alexa cannot even open Netflix, yet Google can, and that's also just one of many functions that I notice, however, Amazon hardware seems to have better mics. Good luck

Great Idea- But...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tablet for a couple of reasons, the main one was for Alexa. After that, I wasn't planning on using if for much. I did buy a tv tuner so I could carry it outside on the patio with me. I settled on this lower memory version because I hadn't planned on doing much more with it. The persistent disconnecting the blutooth connection between the tablet and base is annoying as heck. Almost every day I have to manually get it to re-connect and sometimes it has to be done several times. If it weren't for that, I'd give it maybe 4 stars. Lenovo needs to get this straightened out before I could recommend this tablet.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used it wo watch movies and listen to music, while working. Used it to read, while having a break. Email works good on it for short emails. Worth the extra money to have the base.

Great Tablet for the price!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only been using this tablet for a few days. I wanted to get a new tablet. Mind you switching from Samusung Note Pro. This Lenovo Smart Tablet isn't bad at all. The reason I went for this tablet because of Alexia and the price. Trust me I read a lot of the reviews. Especially getting Alexia to work without being in show mode when its taken off the docking station. Set up did take a little time. If you follow the experts advise you will have no problem. Make sure you get a case cover as well. I will do an update in 2wks.

Q: QuestionDoes the dock wireless charge the tablet?
Asked by meeya.
- A:Answer No, it isn't wireless, it does charge it though, if that was your main concern, but it's not wireless, it's got two small contact points at the bottom that need to line up for it to charge, but it isn't hard to line them up since it also comes with two small tabs thatpretty much line it up for you.
