I had trouble finding the installation manual for the LG - EasyClean 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Gas Convection Range - Stainless-Steel Model # LMV2055ST, it turns out that this unit is a Canadian release and is not listed on the US site. However, the installation clearances for this should be the same as for other LG Over-the-Range Microwave ovens and for those units, the recommended minimum cabinet width clearance is 30" and it is recommended that there should be a 30" minimum clearance from the bottom of the cabinet to the cooking surface or countertop before installation. If you are in Canada, this model should be listed on their site and in the support section for the unit, you should be able to find instructional videos that will give you a step by step instruction on the installation. Thec unit should have come with an installation manual and the mounting templates, but again, LG Canadian verify this for you!...IFV

Quality Construction
Other than the blue interior, the first thing I noticed about this unit was it seemed to be built well. The grate is very solid (3-pieces) and the storage drawer actually rolls in and out without falling out of the track. This is our first convection oven and I have yet to use the convection component except to play around with it. This oven may run a bit hot--or more likely, our old oven may have run a bit cold. We have not burned anything but we have cut back a couple minutes on cook times. The third rack in the oven is a very nice bonus. Racks cost what? Maybe 47-cents to make? Why don't all ovens come with 3 racks?!?! The range has 4 powerful burners. In fact, I think I actually dislike the fact that each burner is a different size because you need to stop and think about each one when cooking with multiple pots and pans on the stove at once. The middle oblong burner does not get as hot as I would like it. Instead of using the center burner griddle accessory we like to use our own, larger 2-burner griddle because it has more surface area. Unfortunately the middle burner leaves coldspots unless you use the LG griddle accessory. The grates, as mentioned before, seem to be high quality BUT we have twice nearly dumped small pots (i.e. 2-qt or smaller sauce pots) because the grates were not designed for pots that small. This could be an issue down the road. The large knobs turn easily. Too easily. We have a cramped area between the stove, cupboards and dishwasher when putting away dishes. In the short time we have owned this range we have already inadvertently bumped the knobs and kicked on the gas 3 times. Think about this if you have grabby toddlers. All told, this is a nice range and we are happy. We have proofed bread in it, convectioned one roast, and cooked/baked plenty of other dishes w/o convection and have been satisfied.

A great range!
I am absolutely thrilled with my new LG range! I had an inferior range prior to this that did not have any bells and whistles - like the self-cleaning feature or an easily accessible broiler. This range has it all. Not only does it have great features, we have been amazed at how good our food seems to taste. Can't really explain that part except for the fact that the stove top and oven cook evenly and thoroughly. The range has a feature where you can adjust the oven temp which I did because it seemed to cook a bit too high at first. Reading the manual is a must since I learned about many cool ways to get the most out of the range that were explained in it. I am delighted with this purchase and look forward to many years of making our favorite recipes and trying new ones.

Excellent mid-price stove
Purchased replacement stove to match other LG appliances. Very good burner and griddle placement. Variety of BTU burner sizes very convenient Electronic burner igniter is quick and smooth in operation. Convection oven has accurate temp control and even baking throughout.
