A: Congratulations on getting a great TV Steve, the LG 70" Class (69.5" Diagonal) 4K UHD Smart LED TV w/ webOS 2.0, Model # 70UF7700 is bound to give you an unbelievable viewing experience! There are several factors that determine what the best viewing distance will be for you. The lower the resolution on a TV, the farther away you would need to sit so you don't see the pixels. With the 4K, you should be sitting closer, although the size of the TV suggest you do the opposite because the larger the screen size, the further away you should sit. For your TV, the ideal distance away for that size TV and that resolution should be between 4 to 5 feet, but since this is going to be wall mounted, that would also affect the distance because you don't want to be so close that you have to crane your neck. Ultimately, it comes down to how comfortable you will be getting as close to that ideal distance of between 4-5 feet...^IFV

Q: Refresh Rate
A: From what I've read it's true 120Hz not 240. All the tv manufactures say "240 CMR" or "Trumotion 240". It's just their way of processing and tricking the consumer. The last gen 1080p tvs were all mostly 120Hz unless it was cheap or a smaller tv. The first few 4K gens have been 60Hz to 120hz if you're lucky.
