Amazing concept display come to life

This display is absolutely fantastic. As others have stated it gets brighter than the C2 thanks to the true evo panel and the picture quality is amazing. PROS: --------- Excellent Picture quality, brighter than the C2 thanks to the proper evo panel like the G2. Also helping with the PQ is the glossy screen with their AR coating which gives all the pop of a glossy OLED like the C2 without the matte finish people complained about on some of the other OLED monitors The ability to curve, this happens very quickly and is cool to see. For me when sitting this close for gaming or productivity work, I strongly prefer a curve. At this point after coming from a G9 Neo, a large flat screen at this distance seems almost convex to me. I'd be fine with it simply staying curved, but it's a neat trick and I do enjoy going back to flat if I want to lean back and watch TV I have only tried a few other OLED for productivity the Asus 42 and the LGs own ultragear 48 and to me, text here seems very passible and probably the best of the bunch. There's still some minor fringing on things like the stars on this review and the best buy logo, but of the OLEDS I've tried Id say the least noticeable Smart TV functions work well, a single well thought out remote as opposed to multiple that were found on the ARK Looks like a high-end monitor - minor I know, but to me since my desk does not face the wall, I appreciate the aesthetics and prefer that it doesn't look like I just have a TV sitting on my desk but a proper monitor Because of said stand, adjustability is good, to me the lowest height setting is about perfect, unlike the Samsung ARK that I simply couldn't get low enough for its size leaving the top of the screen out of view NEGATIVE: --------------- It's very expensive. At 2.5x the current sale price of a C2 42" OLED the price is hard to swallow, however, given its the only curved OLED of its kind on the market at the moment for me it is worth it. YMMV No display port. I understand that HDMI 2.1 has higher bandwidth than DP 1.4, and that's fine for my PC, however when using both a mac and PC, DP is always helpful as OSX artificially limits any HDMI connection to 2.0 spec even when using a thunderbolt to HDMI 2.1 adapter. Not necessarily negative, but I do worry about its longevity, both due to burn in thanks to the OLED tech and its motor functionality if it's moving back and forth multiple times a day. Especially given that it goes flat every time its powered off. Overall, very happy with the purchase despite the price and think this will be my new long-term monitor for as long as it does last!

A Stunning Display with a Flexible Twist!

The LG OLED FLEX is truly something special with its awesome display options. It’s got this cool flexible design that lets you adjust the screen just the way you like it, giving you a whole new level of immersion when you’re watching stuff. The picture quality is simply mind-blowing, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and incredible contrast that make everything look so lifelike. And guess what? It’s got a high refresh rate of 120Hz, which means super-smooth motion that’s perfect for gaming and action-packed scenes. But, here’s the thing – if you want to make the most of that 120Hz goodness, you’ll need an HDMI cable that supports it. They don’t include one in the box, unfortunately. But no worries, Belkin’s got you covered with a compatible cable, so you can enjoy every bit of that high refresh rate goodness. Apart from the HDMI thing, the LG OLED FLEX rocks. The audio is fantastic too, thanks to Dolby Atmos support. It’s like you’re right in the middle of the action with that surround sound experience. Sure, it might be a bit pricey, but trust me, it’s worth every penny. This TV is a game-changer, and you’ll love every second you spend watching your favorite movies, playing games, or just chilling with some shows. So, yeah, if you’re willing to get that HDMI cable, go for it – the LG OLED FLEX is a top-notch choice for a truly premium home theater experience that’ll blow you away!

    Great Picture

I have purchased this LG FLEX 42” TV to replace a still working 2006 Viewsonic 32” TV, so that I will be able to stream more easily with a smart capability. The LG 55” TV, that I had purchased in December 2009, prior to the smart TV offerings, is still working, so I decided to replace the smaller set first. The cable TV company is in the process of converting from cable box TV listings to a streaming service, so it is time to upgrade for the changing technology. This LG FLEX 42” TV has a great picture, which is enhanced by the ability to curve for a wrap around watching experience. It is an outstanding choice for using as a computer monitor, so that I may sit further back away from the screen, as well as gaming, while sitting in a comfortable chair.
