A: The LG PuriCare 2019 Energy Star 50-Pint Dehumidifier in Black - Black, Model # UD501KOG5 can be setup for continuous drainage with a 3/4" (outer diameter) threaded garden hose. You can turn the hose cover at the back of the product counterclockwise to open it, remove the bucket, insert the garden hose in the drain hole at the rear of the case, then turn the end of the garden hose clockwise to attach it to the male connection behind the water bucket. The garden hose needs to be attached firmly to avoid leaks. It should be hand tightened , then you can make an additional 1/8 turn with pliers...^IFV
