A: Yes, you can change the dryer door only
A: Note that the LG gas dryer can vent to the back (standard), bottom (the knock-out is really hard to get out!), or the left side. It can't vent to the right side because of the gas inlet position. If you need a dryer that vents to the right, it has to be the electric dryer. The knock-outs are located on the sides - lower portion toward the back of the dryer. It's possible to install the ventilation kit without taking everything completely apart, but the space is pretty tight.
Q: Can you stack the dryer on top of the washer? All the photos only show the units side by side.
A: Yes it comes with stacking kit. Best Buy salesperson will take care of all the necessary kit to that you need.
Q: Does anyone know how Best Buy geek squad checks for a gas leak with the dryer installation?
A: I'm not sure, as in our case, after two gas leaks in the first two days of ownership, they replaced the dryer completely, along with the gas hose and connector, and the vent line (which also was not properly connected). We had to shut the gas off at the valve to resolve the problem temporarily until the Geek Squad or the installers could come out to make the "repair." The first leak, the install team sent out a second install team to "fix" the leak problem. Leak #1 occurred within a few hours of the install. Then, it was going to be almost two weeks for the Geek Squad to even arrive, but then the install team stepped in again and did the replacement (the second leak) within the first few days. No more gas problems in the month since then. A better option may be to call your gas utility, if it is an emergency. I have seen a gas company employee use a soapy mixture to identify a leak by seeing where the soap bubbles up from the pressurized gas. Better to just call the utility company, than to mess with it yourself, though, I think.
A: THIS DRYER HAS A SMALL CONTAINER FOR WATER THAT HAS IT'S OWN SLOT SO THAT YOU CAN STEAM GARMENTS THAT YOU WANT TO REFRESH BUT WASHING MAY BE DAMAGING.
Q: What condition do you have in this dryer
A: undefined
A: This machine vents out the back of the unit, very close to the floor.
Q: What is the meaning of UL in gas dryer , and do we have that in this Gas dryer ?
A: Presumably you are referring to the Underwriters Laboratory or UL approval. All major appliances have probably been UL tested before they hit the market. This is standard procedure to test the design and manufacture of devices such as this. They are not all tested by the UL, just those machines sent to them before the first manufacturing run.
