A: I have had the lifeproof case on a s5 and now a s7, the charging door on the s7 seems to be improved. You could also get a charging plate so your charging door never has to open that would save on cases as well
Q: I'm guessing you lose the fingerprint unlock function with the Lifeproof case. Can anyone confirm?
A: It doesn't work for me.
A: It does fit but you wont be able to use some of the phones features because the edge of the screen will be blocked
Q: Is the case dual layer, rubber and plastic how an otter box would be?
A: I had minimal hands on with this, as I HATED the case. It distorted my screen something fierce. I don't recall a dual layer. There was a couple spots of rubber inside, but it was mostly plastic.
A: I was able to register my case with LifeProof after buying from Best Buy.
A: The fingerprint sensor works fine. It's thinner in the area around the home button.
