Logitech - M185 Wireless Optical Mouse - Gray

I purchased this mouse to replace my mother's corded mouse on her computer. The mouse is smooth moving unlike her old wired mouse with the ball tracker which would get stuck and require cleaning only to get stuck soon after it was cleaned. It was very frustrating. None of that business with this new Logitech Wireless Mouse. I also like that there is an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse so that the battery life is preserved. In my wireless mouse I have to unplug the USB connector and place it inside the mouse to put it to sleep and save the battery or take the battery out of the device. This mouse is also very comfortable to hold in your hand and maneuver. I'd definitely recommend buying one. For the price you can't beat it!

The mouse works smoothly on any normal surface that I tried, giving smooth control of the mouse cursor. I tried bare wood tables, newspaper, various cloth surfaces (even bed sheets if you want to use a computer in bed). Then I tried oddball surfaces to see if it failed to work on anything. It does not work on a glass mirror or a windowpane. So, it might not work on a glass coffeetable or other transparent surface. The mouse is very basic. It has left and right mouse click switches and a scroll wheel. The scroll wheel also acts as a center mouse button. There aren't any other buttons. I bought two of these mice on a "deal of the day" and am very happy with them for the price. The mouse seems a bit small in my hand, but there is no problem holding it, so it is not tiny. One thing threw me for a loop when I first unpacked the mice and turned one on. There is no visible indication that the mouse is on. I am used to seeing a red sensing LED on the underside of the mouse and usually a power indicating LED on the top which blinks on for a moment when power is turned on. Not this mouse. There is no power indicator LED and the sensing LED on the bottom must be using a non-visible wavelengh light to sense mouse movement. In fact, I thought the two mice were defective until I hooked them up to my computer and they both worked. I've only had the mice for a couple of days, so I can't report on battery life. Other Logitech mice that I've used had excellant battery life, so I hope these two will also work for a long time on a battery (uses a single AA battery).

This wireless mouse is easy to install due to bluetooth technology. The pointing are accurate and moving are smooth with no delay, overall I really have no complain about its function: logitech always has good mouse. The reason I give it four stars instead of five is that its kind of small for my hand, at least its not as big as my previous standard sized wired logitech mouse. Its impossible for me to realize this when I browse it online. Later I found out Bestbuy website did describe its size, just it does not mean anything to me. If I were experienced enough in mouse, I should know this, but its hard. Anyway, the mouse is good, I will recommend to my friends, I just need to warn them its a little bit small than normal sized mouse.

I've owned 3 Logitech mice in the past. I had a much older one w/the infrared lighting underneath that recently died on me after years of good daily use so this was my replacement. I didn't feel like spending a fortune on a new mouse and this was about $10. I love it and it is used every day. The only thing that is annoying is when Im trying to be quiet at night while working on my laptop and I click on the mouse and the click sounds so loud. The design is great and it fits comfortably in my right hand, scrolling is very smooth, and is very lightweight. I hope they improve on the loudness of the clicking sound.

It's nice, small mouse that works as designed!!!!!

I have not had any problems with this mouse...yet. I got this mouse because I was leaving on a trip and prefer to use a mouse rather than the touch pad on my laptop. I tested in stores and like how the wheel scrolled rather than other ones that seems to have no stop once you spin it. Clicks are good and responsive for some light gaming time.

The wireless was so great that I didn't feel any lag in usage. Only thing is its not so good when we try to feel it in hand. Its small. Performance wise its good.

Works just the way it is supposed to! Piece that goes in the USB port was hard to find at first - It's inside the mouse! Have to open the back and take it out.
