Metal fans, this is for you!
Not a film for everyone, but for those who love the dark-side of metal history, Lords of Chaos delivers in spades. Based on the book, this on-and-off factual retelling of the history of infamous Norwegian black metal outfit, Mayhem, is a shocking, brutal, scary, heartfelt, and at-times, darkly hilarious journey.
Led by fantastic performances by Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, and Jack Kilmer, this is a true-shocking tale of darkness, sadness, violence, and the darkest side rock and roll had to offer.

Awesome!
I love metal and have always been intrigued by the story of Mayhem! I love that someone finally made a movie about the band and the scene in Norway at the time with all the church burnings and other dark things going on. A true piece of metal history. The movie was well done and highly recommended for any metal fan.

Great until the ending
This movie is pretty ok up until the end but some of the characters were poorly portrayed.
