Q: Can you manually turn on the floodlights?
A: Yes, by using the Lorex Home app you can manually turn it on/off.
Q: Can this be mounted horizontally under the eves.
A: For adequate performance, the motion detector has to be leveled to the ground, based on that, this floodlight cannot be mounted horizontally under eaves. Our suggestion would be to mount it up on a flat surface such as a wall. Q: Can this be installed where there is no existing junction box?
A: Yes , i did mine directly to the wall using the hardware included
