Q: Will these hearing aids work for someone with severe loss or just mild to moderate
A: These hearing aids are best suited for someone with mild to moderate hearing loss, and our prescription hearing aids are best for those with severe hearing loss, to receive enough amplification and refinement for frequencies with more severe loss. What I recommend is starting with these hearing aids, and if you need more amplification, you can visit a Lucid Hearing center to have them upgraded for a small fee and prescribed to your loss. A: Hello there! These hearing aids are only available in pairs. One is able to wear a single unit, however to utilize the LucidShape feature in the Lucid Hearing App, both units must be worn. With LucidShape, the owner can manually configure the frequencies for desired listening experience while using the Lucid Hearing App. It does not require desktop software. Thank you!
