Madden NFL 07 - PlayStation 3

Upon opening the game I realized that it wasn't going to be a 100% fun. The booklet doesn't show anything in color, come on it is modern times. What you see in the booklet should somewhat represent what is on the screen. So instead of reading the book I went straight for the game. The gameplay is average at best, a bit chunky. The sideline animations are horrid, no time was put into them. There are a ton of pixelated areas found when playing such as players, field sidelines and the red zone. The commentary is ok, but Madden is hardly there and Al is no where to be found. Some of the camera angles make the game fun, but overall it's just an average title.

I'm not a big football fan, but I enjoy playing it on game systems. I loved the previous version of Madden I had on ps2, so I figured on the ps3 it would be even better. I was wrong it took a step back in my opinion. The game seems slow to develop when running plays. Graphics are alomost identical to that of the ps2. The game developers should take advantage of the ps3 more powerful high def graphic capabilities more. Also it seems more difficult to jam receivers and bring everyone to the line to defend against the run or fall back and defend against the pass. You can do it, but it seems like it more difficult to do thus resulting in a lost of control.

MADDEN 07 is a great game to get into. The superstar mode the the coolest it makes you feel like your realy out there playing. The only thing i didnt like is that the controls are totaly different from 06. The only thing that is the same is the tackle button. I would recomend this to anybody looking for a good sports game.

The game is great when playing exhibition games or season but nothing really new. The new mode Superstar is maybe the worse thing you can do. The view is hard to control in the game making it difficult which takes you out of the game. If you love Madden then get it. But if you love football games just go buy Madden 08 cause this was a down year for football.

This game is a dissapointment to the Madden series, with minimal improvements, and gosh the most annoying music around. The game is also outifitted with hundreds of glitches, and the NFL Superstar is awful. This game better make improvements if it wants to be a sucess in Madden 08.

Great game! The franchise mode is a blast with multiple people on the same team. The graphics are amazing, however some of the hits and catches in the game are inconsistent. Amazing, but no player can leap 20 ft in the air crossing 10 yards to make a one handed catch in the middle of traffic, while dropping wide-open 'hit you in the face' passes. Overall a great game... fun that never gets old even after season after season of playing.

The game is fun to play 2 play but you can see the other persons plays. the graphics are really good. The online play is VERY slow, you play the game in slow motion. This is sad, if you get madden get it for PS2.
