A: Hello. Thank you for your question and we hope all is well. We apologize as it looks like the depth spec on Best Buy's website of 10.5 is a rounded number. For more precise measurements, the depth of the Motion 30i with the grill on is 10.81. This dimension includes the binding post. A: You can have it as close as you want (within reason). Being closer will just make the bass more boomy. About 8-12" away should be good. Some may say 12-24 inches, but around 12 ive found is good.
A: Hello. Thank you for your question and we hope all is well. We make the Motion 30i in a red walnut, but the finish is different than the gloss black cherrywood. There is also no gloss to the red walnut on the Motion 30i like the Motion 30 or your older Motion 40s. If you're interested, we would recommend reaching out to your local store for stock availability. They may also have the red walnut finish in stock for you to compare in person. Q: Can this be mounted to a wall via a bracket?
A: This particular center channel was not designed to be mounted on a wall, as there are no threaded mounting screws to utilize. However, there are clamp-style brackets that may work to mount this to a wall.
