Brilliant, beautiful series!!
Downton Abbey is a beautiful moving series by Masterpiece Theater. It sweeps you away from the first episode and it's hard to slow down from there. You'll end up binge watching the entire series in a matter of days, I'd bet. ;) The only problem with the series is... it's over!!! Buy it and you'll be glad you did.
Came in simple but nice and safe cases for the discs. Best Buy's packaging for delivery was awesome and very speedy. Received the items ahead of the estimate deivery date even! No problems at all with my order.

Wife loves it, I don't get it
This show is apparently the equivalent of visual crack. My wife and daughter love it. I don't understand why. It makes reading the newspaper seem like riding a rollercoaster. I tried sitting through one of my wife's benders on this show and I actually chuckled at one of the dry remarks and felt so dirty I had to go shower. Despite my feelings on it, it must be a good show, since my wife somehow got my daughter and mother-in-law hooked on it.

A wonderful series.
My wife and I missed the first 3 seasons, and we wanted to catch it at a later time. That would mean purchasing DVDs. It was very convenient to find a set, at Best Buy, that contained seasons 1 through 5.
It seems harder to find DVDs in stores now, but this was the most convenient method for us.
