Maytag - 4.5 Cu. Ft. 10-Cycle Super Size Capacity Plus Washer - White

So i was rigorously looking for Reviews for the MHWE450 & MEDE500 and could not find any. It is just simply too new. Even the repair man agreed after he broke my heating element with his screwdriver, bc the dryer was making a noise that sounded like something was loose. (but i got a whole new dryer the next day)...anyway, i asked him if he's had any problems with these Maytags, and as i said before, he said "Honestly, we havent even learned about all the features yet, our class is next month".., hence the phrase, too new.. Our old W & D broke and after 2 weeks of laundry piling up, we literally finished it all in about 3 hours--Very nice. The 3,000RPM's this beast spun on Rinse sounded like a freight train coming thru the house at first, but being as i am in construction, i opted to Re-Level the machine (which was off from the original guys who set it up) and add an 80lb bag of concrete in our 15.5" pedastal and shim the drawer closed tight. Yes, it took a bit of effort, but YES it worked, and great! and still works GREAT. Soon i am going to build a temp wall underneath the 2 machines in the basement, bc now the washer alone weighs 310lbs. empty, but is solid as a rock! When i tell people about the bag of concrete most bash the idea of going thru all that trouble just to make something work, but if you want something to work exactly how you want it to, you have to customize it! And the temporary wall is not a big deal either (to a carpenter, i guess...) one 2x4 against the bottom joists of your sub-floor, one on the concrete floor, and 3-4 studs between em, you dont even have to nail anything, (its easier if u do) but just wedge it all tight together and make 3-4 cuts for ur 3-4 studs.....i also wrapped the 80# bag of conc in a big black plastic trash bag, in case it ever broke open...thats my trick and it works great. I can Overload that thing and it doesnt sound like a train anymore..yeah we cant open that drawer anymore, but we use the one for the dryer

Its really good product because is: economic, quiet, efficient, simple to use, technology with easy sets, leave the clothes really clean without damage.

Very quiet, cleans clothes well. Lots of cycle choices for all fabric types. Very economical to use (energy star).

This is my first front load washer I have bought and I must say I am quite pleased with my purchase. At first I was leary about the settings and if I was going to have a hard time setting a load of clothes, however this was not the case. Very easy and functional. My husband and I were able to remove our top loader washer without any problems, however this washer is definitely a 2 man job. Washer is a lot heavier than expected.

This washer was purchased to replace an older top loader Maytag which would "dance" across the floor every spin cycle. This new machine is quiet, durable and strong. It also has many different settings for every item you want to wash. It's hard to go wrong with this machine at this value and brand name.

We purchased the Maytag when we moved into our new house. It is great, easy to load, easy to use. I love the fact that you can wash big loads and that cuts laundry day into a couple of hours! The only problem I am having is the instruction book that came with it does not have any directions on how to use the delay start button. I am determined to figure that out on my own. This is the only reason for the "GOOD" rating on the features.

Bought this washer, and dryer, about a month ago. I actually bought it two months ago, but it was placed on back order and did't get it until four weeks later. But it was worth the wait. Washer is very quiet. The first time I had to go back and check to make sure it was working. Nice features and very easy to operate.

We've had this machine for 2 1/2 months. It's done everything I could hope for until now. Now it's making a loud clunking sound. Service has been called and will be out later this week. I'll post more after they have had a look at it.
