A: I have 4 dogs and wash an enormous amount of linens, blankets and bedding each week. This dryer has a HUGE lint trap and I have not had issues with dog hair not being picked up in the dryer. It would be foolish for me to say that 100% of the dog hair was removed 100% of the time. I can say that 100% of the time it is rarely or ever noticed, and I can't say that it didn't get picked up in transferring it from the laundry room to wherever I fold and finish. The lint trap is like a basket, rather than just a screen and it holds twice as much. I had the same reservations about this dryer when I read the reviews before purchasing, but after reading a ton of reviews on other various models, determined that given the size, price point and features, it was worth the risk.. and after almost 3 weeks, I have ZERO things to complain about, or dog hair to pick off (that wouldn't have been there otherwise)... Q: Does this Dryer have a steam function?
A: No. Funny, though, I never understood the steam feature on a dryer. When clothes are drying in any dryer, there is steam while the clothes are still wet. Maybe I'm missing something.

A: NO BUT IT HAS A ENERGY SAVER SETTING ON THE DRYER. THE WASHING MACHINE HAS A ENERGY STAR RATING
Q: Will this dryer fit through a normal size door okay?
A: Yes. Just purchased this dryer a few weeks ago. No issues getting it thru the door from the garage into the utility room (standard door).
Q: Does the dryer have an interior light?
A: Yes it does have interior light.
Q: Which direction does the door swing open or which side are the hinges on?
A: The dryer door originally opens at the left if you're looking at it, but it is reversable. But you'll have to take the door off and basically open the door insides up to reverse some internal pieces. Instructions DO come with it and to my knowledge, it's pretty straight forward. Good luck!
