Connery/Bracco/Amazon Jungle/A story unfolds....
This unexpected and exciting story of a recluse Doctor in the Amazon jungle close to a historic medical discovery who with the help of Lorraine Bracco, races to complete his research before the advancing destruction and clearing of the jungle for modern farming destroys the very source of those rare resources that only grow in the deep rain jungles of the Amazon. Will those materials needed for miraculous medical discoveries be lost forever by man's need for resources and farm land for an ever growing world population.
The playing off of each other and the wisecracks and humor that develop between Connery and Bracco work beautifully in supplying relief to the dramatic tension of the story. This was an unexpected smash hit after its release in 1992 and is well worth adding to your film library, especially at its very affordable Best Buy DVD pricing.

Classic!
This is actually one of my favorite Sean Connery films next to Finding Forester. Had to pick it up and I hope this gets a 4k transfer as well.
