I now can utilize the back up camera without being in reverse but manually have to push one button to see my camera. Overall pretty good.

Q: QuestionI’m looking to replace my oem stereo with an aftermarket stereo and still keep my oem backup camera. Will this work with the 2019 ford transit 250 with the small screen up front?

- A:Answer I have a Ford Transit Connect with a similar layout and was told by the BestBuy tech, who seemed to really know his stuff and did a bunch of research, that you could choose the video screen to work OR the steering wheel controls. He had the display working with the van disassembled and showed me the video feed then he changed the setup to allow the steering wheel controls. I eventually went with a rear view display in order to keep the steering wheel controls. The camera I used was the iBEAM - 4.3" LCD Monitor with Clip-On Mount - Black. It's OK, not great quality, but the BestBuy tech said he suspected it was due hardware mismatch since I kept the stock camera. I just didn't want to spend more at that point.
