Customers are saying
Customers recognize the Surface Pro's portability, describing it as "super versatile." They appreciate the inclusion of a keyboard and find the device to be fast and light. The price is considered reasonable, and the battery life is praised for being great. While most customers are pleased with the product, a few express dissatisfaction with the kickstand, viewing it as more suitable for a bike than a laptop.

5 years and still thriving!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 years later and I've only had to purchase a keyboard ( because) and a charger cord because my puppy chewed on it! Outlasted its competitor! Will buy again when I need a replacement!

Best in its class
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was searching for a decent priced performer. Something that had possible resale value after it becomes older tech. I went with the Surface Pro. It came in a bundle at an amazing price. It included everything. It’s a step above the iPad Pro. It’s got a mouse tracker which Apple grossly left out of their lineup. It’s got full tablet and PC capabilities. It can use a pen with it that conveniently magnetizes on the side. The battery life is exceptional and has expandable memory capabilities which leaves the possibilities on it limitless. The security on it is great and love the facial recognition it incorporates. The only sour note would be that it doesn’t include any Microsoft office programs. It should have at least included the software for it.

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Surface Pro as a replacement for my dying lap top. This one came with a free keyboard. Using apps instead of old style software does not eat a lot of memory. I put a micro SD to back-up my files and I like it because it is expandable. Keyboard feels natural and easy to type. This unit is so much faster than my old lap top. This tablet is more than a laptop with the capability of detaching the keyboard and use it as a tablet. I like this better than my wife's I Pad Pro.

Just what I was looking for
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need something small to travel with since I didn't want to bring my laptop. I also need to have Quickbooks and Office 365 installed and in working condition. Both of which works great. Keyboard is excellent as is the mouse pad. Also getting the m3 instead of the i5 was perfect for me too. Which is unusual for me since I always get the latest and fastest (laptop) I can find. I'm a little concerned about the battery life from what read. Anyway excellent choice over what is available for a windows tablet.

Great but Under-powered Surface
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my Surface for a few months now and I can say it is a great portable tablet/laptop, but it really hasn't met my expectations. The build quality is great and so far, I haven't had an issue with the battery dying quickly as some other users have. The biggest complaint I have is the lack of performance. I know, it was the cheapest surface pro at the time but 4GB of RAM on Windows 10 is pretty unrealistic, as well as the core M3 processor. About the only benefit you would have from the core M3 is 'maybe' a small amount of extended battery life. The main tasks I perform with this Surface is a little schoolwork and web browsing which sometimes it struggles with. I noticed at times it starts to get very laggy and after opening task manager, the memory (RAM) is nearly 100% utilized. Other than the annoyingly bad performance, it is a nice super-portable PC. The build is very solid and is even better when it is protected in a case with a glass screen protector. This Surface doesn't come with a pen, but I opted for the Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus when I purchased the Surface. This is my first device that supports active pens and I was blown away by how well note-taking can be. It's almost the same as writing on paper. I know people recommend the Surface Pen, but I was completely satisfied with the Bamboo Ink for a lot lower price. Overall, I do like my Surface, but I don't think I would recommend this particular model to someone. If it can't perform web browsing and note taking seamlessly, it's not that great. I do plan on selling this one soon and upgrading to a Surface 7. You can spend just a little more and get at least an i5 processor with 8GB of memory.

Great Laptop for the Average User
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased the Surface Pro for college use. It is light weight, has great portability, fantastic build quality and amazing battery life. It also has decent performance and does everything I need it to do. The display is amazing and it also boots up fast allowing it to be ready to use within seconds. My only complaint is that it does have it’s laggy moments causing the experience to not be as smooth as I’d like it to be. This is very noticeable on websites and programs that are more cpu intensive. The intel core M3 and 4GB of RAM are most definitely the reason for this. It is by no means unbearable, but it is noticeable. If you’re looking for high performance the intel core M3 version is not for you. If you are looking for a device to access the web, check emails, use Microsoft Office Apps (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.) and other basic tasks, than this computer is perfect for you. I find it absolutely perfect for my college use, but if you need something with a bit more performance and want an overall smoother experience, I recommend upgrading to at least the i3 model or a model with 8 GB of ram.

Great Deal - I don't why it was so cheap, but GLAD
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What else can I say! This is a Surface Pro with Keyboard. Must be a new models coming out because I grabbed this deal with the quickness! Performs as expected, fast boots, light, clear display. I bought a "Surface Go" a few months ago, and this was actually the same price with included keyboard so I jumped on it! Upgraded the Windows 10 edition to Professional, and the performance was still awesome, This is an awesome tablet/laptop - No complaints.

Perfect student laptop replacement
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Surface Pro last year for myself and my daughter found it to be a very attractive replacement for her old laptop. Seeing a sale on them again, I bought her this version for her. She is a business student so she is not doing anything that needs heavy processing power. She loves the light weight and portability of the Surface Pro and how quickly it boots up and is ready to go. The M3 processor is speedy for all of your normal web and office application needs. My wife has been using my Surface Pro (similar configuration) for a few months with no issues of performance either. So don't feel you have to spend more for the i5 processor if you're not doing anything beyond web-based or Office-type applications.
