Charging the phone is pretty basic, just plug it in as you would with any basic charging usb cable. The phone itself charges first, then the case will charge when the phone is fully charged. These cases are user friendly, uncomplicated & definitely protect your phone as well.

A: Are you asking how long it takes to charge back up? Or are you asking how long the charge will last? The charge from the case will last as long as the charge on the phone. So with this case, you double the amount of charge your phone gets. The phone will run out of charge and then the case will completely recharge the whole phone. After that, both will be out of power. But I charge mine all night and it lasts until I go to bed. I don't use it to listen to music. I use it to check email, use the calculator, look up something online, check the weather, play an educational game, ask one of my sons a question on the phone or by text, or check my bank account.
