A: According to a single comment from the gamingonlinux website the MSI Bravo 15 works with Linux (Arch Linux specifically mentioned) perfectly without the need of any proprietary drivers. If this is the case I don't understand why manufacturers won't mention that as a selling feature unless they feel pressured not to (like by another OS maker).

A: The SSD can be upgraded.

A: No thunderbolt connection. This seems to be the case most of the time. You may want to reevaluate if it is something you really need or if the hardware that utilizes it truly takes advantage of the speed.
