Q: Why did the price raise from $579.99 to $819.99?
A: Greed.
Q: This card was 579 why the price jump?
A: I personally have no idea at all. I was luckily able to secure this exact GPU for 579.99$ before the price jump. Maybe this was due to MSI themselves raising the MSRP, which in turn led Best Buy to make the additional changes. Before this was a great bang for buck deal but now its quite over priced.
Q: Will this card fit in the corsair 220T case?
A: On corsair's website it says the maximum GPU length for the case is 300 mm. This GPU is huge. MSI's website says it's 323 mm. So based off of this data I would answer no. I will say though it barely fits in my old NZXT s340.
