Amazing Series!
Neon Genesis Evangelion itself is spectacular. Unless you already own a copy of the series, you should have no excuse not to purchase this. The description here on the sight was disappointingly vague, but this is in fact the entire platinum series. This is the holiday release of it, and it is this product, although it is inexplicably priced much higher.

$40 is a bargain, and the best price you are going to find for the complete Evangelion series. The only lamentable portion of it is the packaging, and that is hardly something to fret about. The box has "Limited Holiday Edition" multiple times on all sides, but that is really only an issue to collectors. The box itself is also very minimalist, but that really shouldn't be an issue. You aren't buying this for the box. It's what's inside that counts, and in this case, it happens to be the most monumental and awe-inspiring anime of all time. Do yourself a favor and check it out, it will be time well spent.
