Q: What network does this device use and how do I pay for the data?
A: Any GSM compatible network (e.g AT&T & T-Mobile). It needs a SIM card to operate and how much you pay will be dependent on the carrier.
Q: What kind of mobile hotspot card does this take?
A: This does not work on the Sprint Legacy Network. So if you were originally a Sprint customer who was converted to TMobile when they merged, this device is not compatible. Trust me I was just at the TMobile store today to activate it and that was the exact problem I ran into.
Q: What phone company can I use this item with
A: If in the US, this device should work with any service provider. I currently use T-Mobile. But, I believe the device would work with AT&T, Verizon, etc.
