A: The Night Owl system I plugged this camera into has a DVR, so yes you can go back I think 30 days and replay the recording from any of the cameras. I like that they flag the timeline when motion is detected and when playing back recorded video, you can get it to skip those portions where no movement was detected. Pretty nifty. Only problem with motion detection, a slight breeze moving leaves or an insect flying close to the lense will flag it as motion, but you can still skip a lot of nothing.
Q: Do I have to have WiFi to run this camera?
A: You do not required an internet/Wi-Fi connection for this camera, however, you do require a Night Owl DVR to be able to use the camera and view the live stream. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.

Q: How much footage can this camera hold?
A: This is an add-on camera. By itself, it cannot hold anything. It will need to be connected to a compatible Night Owl DVR. This 1080p camera is compatible with our AHD10, HDA and XHD Series DVRs. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
A: The Night Owl cameras will allow you to record a moving object, such as a car or people who may walk past the location where you would install the camera. A: Good Afternoon. You can use the two systems separate but together, if that makes sense. You can have two hardwired systems in your home or place of work. Both our 1080p and 720p systems, with the exception of our wireless NVR, use the Night Owl HD App for remote viewing. You will be able to view both systems on the same App and even view cameras from both on 1 screen. Stability will not be an issue. However, for remote viewing, I would check your Internet speed to ensure you have enough bandwith for remote viewing. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
Q: Do you have to have a DVR in order for the camera to work or can you hook this up to a computer?
A: In order to receive push notifications and recordings, a DVR is essential. However, to simply live view, you can purchase a BNC to RCA adapter and connect a camera directly to a TV. Thanks.
