Introducing Night Owl's Add-on 4K Ultra HD Wired IP Camera with L2 Color Boost Technology and Rapid Image Detection Technology (RID). This IP based video security camera is ideal for protecting and monitoring your home or business. The camera is sold as an add-on and requires your IH8.0 Series NVR. The camera produces mind-blowing 4K Ultra HD video and continues recording in full color in low-light settings. As light fades, the camera records in full color utilizing your L2 Color Boost Technology, only switching to Night Vision when necessary. Using Rapid Image Detection Technology (RID), this intelligent camera minimizes false alerts by distinguishing true threats from non-threats like rain, wind, and bugs. Whenever real motion events are detected, the camera will immediately send push alerts to your Smart Device. With Night Owl's free and exclusive App, you can easily view your camera from anywhere in the world!
Q: Can this camera read car plates
A: With our 4K cameras, they will allow you to get the best quality image, meaning you will be able to see license plates from parked cars from a distance of up to 100Ft away from your camera. Keep in mind that moving objects may be a bit more difficult to see clearly since there are variables such as weather, the speed of the object, among others that may prevent a good quality picture even with high-resolution cameras. Also, this is NOT a stand-alone camera is an Add-on camera for the 4K NVR series. Meaning you will need to have the 4K NVR in order to use this camera. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.
Q: Can the Cam-1H8 -BA be connected to the night owl 5.0 DVR ? One of the cameras is defective.
A: No, these cameras are not compatible with that particular system. Please email [email protected] or call our pre-sales team at 1-866-979-0580 to find a compatible product. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
Q: Can this outdoor camera read moving vehicles license plates?
