A: They seem to post ONE switch at a time randomly a few times a day. I use an app called "The Tracker App" and this app can give you a push notification on your phone whenever they have it in stock. From there, you just need to try to check out with the pre order as fast as you can. "Sorry, we just found out this item is out of stock" usually means "you can't buy this yet, keep trying" so just checkout and refresh until it lets you purchase. If later in the checkout process it tells you "your item is sold out" or "the item is unavailable for this shipping method, please try another" that usually means someone else bought it already. Because there is only one available and lots of people are trying to get it, you need to complete the checkout quickly. It helps to save your shipping info and purchase info on a best buy account. I managed to snag ONE pre order in 6 days of trying. Good luck!
A: I recently spoke with a representative and he told me that this item will be restocking soon, but with the pandemic going on, they don’t have an estimate of exactly when it’s restocking. So I would suggest just checking back often! or saving this item so you get notified when this item is back.
A: Other countries aren't giving the game for free. I'll use the UK as an example. Is the UK, retail price for a Switch is £279. Retail price for a full switch game (a $60 game in the US) is £50. The bundle is being sold there for £329. In other words, to get the special console you are forced to ALSO buy the digital version of the game. Some people don't like digital versions of games. The way Nintendo of America is doing it is actually better for consumers who prefer physical copies. To answer your second question, although I think it's irrelevant after the above answer: Switches are region-free, meaning you should have no issues playing games you buy here on a Switch you bought from another country. However, there might be issues if you have problems with your switch and need repairs, as Nintendo of America MAY not deal with Switches sold in other countries. I'm uncertain of their policies with that. In short, just know you're not being screwed over by then not including the game as a download code with the console. You're actually being given the option of buying the physical version instead.
Q: Will this ever release again later in the future? If so around what month?
A: Update: I spoke to a representative this morning and he said that they will be continuously restocking this item, but they don't know when they'll be getting the next shipmen. :) I hope this helps!
A: Pre-orders have already sold out, It will restock later, which is why it says coming soon.
A: i just talked to a representative a bit ago today and they said that they are going to restock it soon and they’ll have more of them soon! hopefully it’s in the next couple weeks
A: I am also having this issue. I have talked with Best Buy over chat two times, and one person told me preorders would open last night, and another person told me Best Buy wouldn’t get more until release date. So I think they don’t have actual answers.
A: The UK edition does while the US does not
