A: What I found out is that you have to enter a credit card number to even activate it, though they won’t charge you anything until the auto renewal kicks in. So if you forget and that date rolls around, they’ll quietly ping your card and you’ll be mad. I won’t use it and I wouldn’t recommend it. There are way better options out there that aren’t as restrictive and memory-consuming. For most users, malwarebytes or even Avast ( which is free) will keep your computer clean and safe just fine.
