Nyko - Charge Base 2 for PlayStation 3

This charger is a great design that comes with two small, clear-plastic dongles (one for each slot) that clip onto the controllers mini-USB plug. This unique feature lets it just drop into place and lift right out of the charger. You just leave them on the controller. They look fine and are not in the way. It is also heavy enough and has rubber feet to keep it in place. The others I've seen require you to fiddle around getting the mini-USB plugs to align which is a two-handed operation because the charger slides around. The current picture is of the older model. Many reviews I saw on other sights said it works great but complained that the lights were too bright, the chrome parts look tacky and it had no power switch. I got one anyway, and the one I received has addressed all those problems. It is all black except for the new chrome power button and the lights are just bright enough to be easily seen. One light for each charging slot. Green (empty slot or fully charged), Red (charging), Flashing red/green (almost charged) It works great for both of my controllers. I love how easily the controllers drop into the charger and can be removed without having to touch the charger with your other hand.

this is a great charger for controllers, but the LED for telling you if its charging or is full is really bright, so make sure to unplug or cover the device.
