It works as advertised for the most part. After having this for several months it is time for a review. The installation is a breeze just make sure you install it the right side up. After installing and before putting the batteries in write down the number on the white sticker. A magnifying glass may help
Now there are several things that I found that could use improvement. The wrist band has a number inside that you need to register online to use. The problem is the number is unreadable because it is stamped in the rubber but their is no contrasting paint or other material that would make the number readable over the numbers. The adhesive for the white key reader you install outside could use a better adhesive. My recommendation would be to get some weatherproof double sided foam tape that 3M makes and apply that to the pad then the surface you are going to install it on. The same would apply for the adhesive on the magnet you can optionally install on the door frame near the door. That is used if you want the door to automatically lock otherwise you need to use the key and key reader or app through your phone if your Android version is fully compatible with the app. If it is not the app can still be used but the key reader will have to be installed outside. Now for the minor problems.
Sometimes the automatic lock does not work.
Sometimes the app has a weird line running through it and the app will not work (see photo and you will notice a black line by the bar. When this happens you have to close the app and log back into it in order for it to work.
The noise that this makes because of plastic gears that are not accessible for lubrication making it sound like a cheaply made toy.

I haven't had a chance to use this lock an awful lot, but the features I have used are useful to allow certain people into my home when I'm unavailable to be there. The lock itself is sturdy, but the price for this thing does seem a bit high. I got it as a Christmas gift and not sure that I would spend this much on it myself.

I use this on my primary entrance door. I can easily send codes to friends or family if I am working late and turn their access on / off whenever I want. It was easy to install and I can use my same lock and key that I was using previously. The only addition I am waiting for is the network connector to allow me to lock and unlock from anywhere in the world,

This item worked ok, but it had issues now and then. Didn't work well with android. It is too expensive for not working correctly 100 percent of the time.

This hands free door lock has made life easier. My family loves the wristband to open the door especially if our hands are full of bags.

I was surfing bestbuy.com looking at what the latest gadgets are saw OKIDOKEYS. Seemed to be easy to use and they seemed to have a really flexible solution with good security so I ordered it. It looked like the perfect solution to the problem of my kids forgetting their keys and being locked out of the house after school.
It arrived today. The website says it really easy to install and set-up and they were right.
First part I love – everything I needed was in the box – everything – even a little reversible screwdriver so I didn’t have to hunt through the garage to find one.
Took me a minute to figure out how to get the little screw-cover off the existing deadbolt to get to the screws, but once I figured that out, I just took the old inside off and followed the instructions (and they have videos at their support site, which was also helpful) …less than 20 minutes start to finish (they say 10-15, but they don’t have kids and dogs at their feet).
OK, OKIDOKEYS is mounted, now I pick-up the set-up instructions and go to the website to set it up. Again, clear and easy…enter the numbers off the locks and reader and cards, enter our phone numbers, download the apps to the phones and test it…a little whirring sound, and the lock opens. Push it again, and it locks – piece of cake, just like I like it (and I can set access times so when the kids get a little older and we give then curfew, we can make it so they have to wake us to get in if they are after curfew…would that be wrong?)
In going over the website and set-up site again and I just figured out another use…we sometimes get home very late from soccer games – I can set it up so one of the neighbors can get in and feed the pooches and let them out – that will save some mess and turmoil.
Pretty sure I’m going to continue to love this OKIDOKEYS. Kids are psyched and they NEVER leave without their phones.
